Magnesium Mg IDHA 4.5%

Magnesium Mg IDHA 4.5% Description:ADOB® Mg IDHA – 4.5% is a specialized fertilizer specially designed to supply plants with highly available magnesium cations.
Thanks to a patented production process, ADOB® Mg IDHA – 4.5% is characterized by many unique properties. IDHA is a state-of-the-art, fully biodegradable chelating agent (75% degradation within 28 days), a feature that makes it the only environmentally friendly synthetically produced chelating agent on the market. The entire MgO concentration in the product (7.5% w/w) is 100% chelated by IDHA, making it fully effective and fully available to plants. The fertiliser is prepared as fully water-soluble, free-flowing micro-granules without impurities or dust. Due to the “raspberry” shape of the microgranules, the product is not hygroscopic and is self-soluble, without the need for mixing. The solubility of the product is 700g/l at 20oC.
This product serves as an effective source of magnesium. It is mainly recommended for transglacial application, especially for fruits and vegetables, as its biodegradability does not cause residues in the products we consume. The product can also be used in fertilization and hydroponics in moderate pH conditions. It is recommended for preventive and corrective fertilization in all agricultural and horticultural crops.
Magnesium is a central component of the chlorophyll molecule. It is therefore essential for optimal photosynthetic performance. It also enhances the catalytic activity of many enzymes by establishing a precise geometry between the enzyme and its substrate (e.g. in ATP synthesis). The specific role of Mg2+ in enzyme catalysis is mainly related to its ability to position water molecules for participation in the catalytic reaction. In addition to its role in enzyme regulation, a significant proportion of the total Mg2+ in the cell is involved in the regulation of cellular pH and cation-anion balance.
ADOB® Mg IDHA – 7.5% ensures the rapid correction of magnesium deficiency and addresses the physiological disorders it causes (such as chlorosis of fully expanded leaves, reduced protein nitrogen ratio accompanied by increased non-protein nitrogen ratio and reduced photosynthesis rate per unit of leaf with simultaneous accumulation of carbohydrates). It is especially recommended when nitrogen or magnesium sulphate fertilizers should be avoided.
